About Kelvin

I’m a full-time secondary school teacher based in Sheffield, with experience teaching across a range of settings — including state schools, tuition centres, and outstanding Ofsted-rated schools. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse group of learners, including students with ADHD, SEN, and dyscalculia, tailoring my approach to help each one succeed.

I believe that students make the best progress when they feel supported and confident. My teaching is built on clear, simple steps that reduce cognitive overload and help students truly understand what they’re learning. By creating a calm and encouraging environment, I help students grow in confidence, celebrate their progress, and see success both in their exams and beyond the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking and exploring new places around the UK, whether it’s trying out a new recipe or discovering somewhere I’ve never been before.
